Plateau LMS Timing Out

Having an issue with our Lectora AICC modules "timing out" in our LMS which is Plateau. We use Lectora Prof. Pub. Suite V. 2008 (5045). All of our training modules run great until somebody stops in the middle of one and tries to return to it a day or so later. It's as if the courses are timed and if not completed in one setting, then they will not launch again. We publish to AICC and the course content resides on a different server than our LMS.
