Offline Title with Video: Full Screen icon does not work

When I'm viewing the offline content, and I move the mouse to the MP4 Full Screen icon, nothing happens. It seems the cursor doesn't change to show a 'hand' when I point to the Full Screen icon, but it does change when I point to the Play/Pause icons, the scrubber and the volume control. So it is not possible to view the video at full screen size.

What is the full screen button doing? Simply not working or cutting off content?

I could be mistaken however I believe Lectora is on version 1.7.4 of the Awesomium browser. Full screen video will be added to Awesomium in version 1.7.6 (see link).

The fix mentioned above was tested in 16.3. The developer is checking in 16.2.2 to see if it works in that version as well. Hopefully it does and I'll keep you posted in case you want to wait for a response before testing.

The continuing issue is known by our development team and currently under investigation. I shared Darrel's insight that updating to the latest version resolves the issue so hopefully it can be addressed in a maintenance or support release soon. During testing they did find that if you placed the rollover option on and published to EXE the full-screen icon worked in some cases. However, if you turned the rollover option off and published to EXE then it was guaranteed not to work. Can you try turning on the rollover option from your Playback Options and republishing to see if it resolves the issue?

Yes, with the next version of Awesomium (as long as Trivantis updates too).

Jen, it won't be fixed until the next version of Awesomium comes out. Then the developers can update Lectora. The current version still does not have full screen capability.

Sorry if I'm late to the party but what is Awesomium and what has Trivantis to do with it?

I did try turning on the Rollover option for videos but this did not make any difference.

Do you know if there is a way to make the video expand to full screen automatically, eg when the user clicks Play?

Without the fullscreen option available for videos I can't use the Offline publishing option.

Thanks Jennifer. I have tried searching for a workaround without any luck. It seems that it cannot be done automatically using code and the user needs to click to trigger full screen mode.
