Ok this sounds like what is happening is some cross domain scripting issues. This is related to trying to run content from the lms server through your internal network. Normally this is not allowed, and you are going to need some cross domain scripting access and scripts to allow this to happen. Also when you changed the AU file for the index, the files when publishing to aicc are looking to the server which they are hosted for the AICC calls (which is now your intranet not the LMS). To change this to the LMS you need to modify the js calls. So currently there are 2 issues, and as Keith mentioned you need someone to determine these security issues on your end.
