Module will not open in a new window - D2L

Another possible resolution is to fix the API Adaptor issue. There is an option to undock the module to view in a separate window, but you get caught up in the API Adaptor error message cycle in this order:
1) Unable to find an API adaptor, then
2) Unable to locate the LMSs API Implementation. LMSInitialize was not successful. then,
3) Unable to find an API adaptor, then
4) Unable to locate the LMSs API Implementation. LMSSetValue was not successful. then,
5) Error finding API -- too deeply nested. And so on and so on...
So basically this option to undock would work if I could get rid of these errors. Any suggestions?
