Module Data Disappeared

I can no longer see the data for a module that was previously published and is now taken offline. The module is currently in draft mode. What happens to the data once a module is in draft mode? I don't see the data previously captured.

I think I've solved my own problem. The module must be published to review the data. I removed the learner groups from the course and republished them. Please let me know if there are other ways to get the data while the course/modules are in draft mode. Thank you.
