Matching Question Issues - Completely not working

I deleted my background image and the lines still aren't showing up. I am using a template that has a green "background" and if I delete it, it looks pretty ugly with a big white gap. Also, it's not just that the lines aren't appearing - when I click on the image on a question that works, a blue box appears around the image, like I've selected it. I don't even get this on the question I'm working on right now.
