If you select your action as Go To a web address, click the open in a new window check box and type in the name of your document as described above by claireb you will not close out your entire program when you close the document. While in the action window you can choose the properties of your new window by clicking on the window properties button and then choosing what will and what won't show on your new window that pops up with your document in it. Just be sure to add your document as an additional file under your title properties as Ben stated up above. This should help solve your problem. If not, you may need to check your properties in Adobe for when the PDF opens.
