Well, if it starts as an image, then you can only change it to another image. If it is an image you click, you can't change it to text. However, most of us simply have the desired text in a text block that is NOT Initially Visible (see text block properties). Then when you click the image, instead of changing contents, you show the the text block.Now, you CAN change the contents of a text block and put different text in it. The page numbering wizard under the Tools menu will show you how to do this.If the above does not answer your question, please post more clarification.
