Lectora Inspire v11 TOC - I only want to view Sections and Pages
April 12, 2013 12:00 AM
Help! I only want to view Sections and Pages in my drop down view Table of Contents....but when I go to the selection tool in the ribbon, it won't let me choose a Section without choosing the Chapter. I am using the Chapter as my own placeholder for organizing the title - I don't want anyone else to see this! I used to be able to do this in prior versions - just show the page or the subchapter. Help! Is this functionality gone, or am I finally losing it??

I don't think that's possible in Lectora 11. But you can use JavaScript to hide anything.
Hi there,
Can you tell me how you accomplished this in vX? When I turn off the "Include in Table of Contents" option for a Chapter in vX, the option is grayed out (disabled) for the Sections and Pages it inherits.
Thanks for your help. If I can recreate this in vX, then I can ensure we research and address it in v11.
Well, this is a setback if I have ever seen one! I couldn't possibly be the only one using Chapters as placeholder (ex: pop up windows, pages with different formats, etc...). Thanks for the javascript idea.....but I'm not well versed in javascript...
So I give TOC's a big "BOOOO!" in v11!
