Lectora 2006 crash

hmmm...we have had absolutely no problems...but so far haven't written anything extremely long either.I would be interested to know what OS you are running and whether it is completely patched. Also, is Lectora updated with the latest service pack?I have, in the past, found problems with some applications depending on the rights I have on a particular machine. This hasn't come up with Lectora but it did recently come up for me with Camtasia...where it locks up and then exits. I had to go into regedit32 and give myself permissions to everything related to Camtasia. I wonder if that could be the problem here too? Just a thought. And don't edit the registry unless you are either comfortable with your knowledge of it, or are willing to blow up your machine.
