Grouping Variables

I'm currently working on a module with dozens of variables and it's occurred to me that a feature I could be making great use of would be the ability to group variables. For example, if I could assign variables A, B & C to Group 1 and variables D, E & F to Group 2, then I could have one action to reset the variables in Group 1 or 2. Working with as many variables as I currently am, I have to individually reset them (or else reset all - which is not an option)...I'm currently working on a module with dozens of variables and it's occurred to me that a feature I could be making great use of would be the ability to group variables.
