Extra "1" when using translator tool

Dear people. I'm really stunned with this one.I used the translator-tool on our last course. I exported the text, and imported it after someone translated it for us. When viewed in lectora, everything seems to be just fine.when published however, a lot of textboxes that seem only to have in common that the textcolor is gray instead of black, now have an additional character added at the beginning of the sentence! As though it was a numbered list, the character(s) "1. " is added in front of those textboxes. Sometimes it is added in the format of the box, but on other occasions it is bigger or a totally different font-type!What on earth might cause this? In Lectora I cannot even find the number "1. " anywhere, but there are plenty when published. I think I'm going nuts
