entry field of fill-in-blank

You can change the contents of an entry field. It's not common, but there is sometimes need for it (I use it to simulate a drop-down box that populates when the user selects a choice). Although, I don't know why the field isn't showing up for you. I can create an action just fine so that when the page Shows, I can Change Contents of the entry field. If you can get away with it, you could just set the default value of the entry field. I gather that your value might be dependent on what the user does earlier. But try some experiments to make the entry field show up. I know it can be done, but I don't know why it's not working for you.I guess I need to ask the obvious question: What version of Lectora are you using? I know it works great in 2008. I thought it worked in 2007; at least I'm pretty sure that I did this in 2007.Kevin
