align graphics to a template at exact loc

I found it hard to align graphics at exact locations based on a Photoshop templates. What I did was to import the flatten Photoshop template into Lectora and align the graphics to the loc of the template. It's especially hard since my monitor is small that it jumps to the top that there is a lapse of time when one disappears that I can't really see if they're at the same location. Maybe I should screen capture the finished alignment and compare the 2 in Photoshop (by turnning on and off the layers).Is there a better way?Thanks for any suggestions!
