Change Content Text Box

In Lectora 2006 I have a change contents feature. The change contents text box has directions in it. The text is white. The user clicks a button and the text changes to the appropriate text for the button. The actual content changes. However, the font color changes from the text box property of white text to the book default black text. Since the text appears on top of a graphic, the text needs to stay white. I tried changing the default text property for that page. That did not work. Any other ideas?
