Capturing page name in variable

John, In Lectora, these are actions, not events. I am not sure what you really mean by using the event. Please clarify.The current page name is available in a standard variable CurrentPageName. To see all the reserved/system variables, Tools menu, Manage Variables. To assign the value of any variable to another variable the action is:Modify Variable, Target = select your variable from the list (this is the one getting a new value); Value: var(CurrentPageName).If you want to display the page name on a page, use a Change Contents action where the new contents is a variable selected from a list. You do not have to assign the CurrentPageName to a new variable to stuff it into a text box. Just select it from the list.If that does not answer your question, please clarify.
