Camtasia and captions
May 22, 2017 12:00 AM
I'm using Camtasia to generate caption files in SRT format and noticed something that seems either a bit odd or potentially user error.
I'm trying to keep captions at one line in Camtasia so that they fit the width of the player I've customized for audio. The issue I've seen is that after splitting the caption and making slight adjustments on the captions track, they seem to go off kilter a bit and aren't synced when I pull the SRT into Lectora.
Has anyone else come up against this and if so, was there a resolution that you know of? I haven't updated as of yet, so that also could be a barrier.

I haven't heard of anything like this. I'll ask support if they have any suggestions.
I did find that running the Sync Captions after helped, but my slow fingers sometimes are a hair late on clicks. I think it's more Camtasia than Lectora. I just may not be zoomed in enough on the timeline when trying to align the timing manually.
