Ability to search within a published title

Greg,Years ago (when I hand coded my web based training) I used to use a JavaScript based search engine that could be included in WBTs and CD-ROM delivered WBT materials. I forget the exact name of the tool I used, but it looks similar to what's offered at this site - http://jssindex.sourceforge.net/.

Essentially, you index the site yourself. You identify a series of search terms and then feed in the pages that the search engine should link to should that term be searched for. It was a pain to maintain as your project went through iterations because you always had to remember to update the index. I suppose there's got to be something out there that does this automatically these days.Mark

As I'm wrapping up testing on my Lectora comment tool (almost done, I swear!), I was thinking about the next side project. I want to add search capabilities within a published Lectora course, HTML/SCORM/AICC. Is there something out there that already does this so I don't waste my time? (as in you can add it, and forget it, no serverside scripting)

Is this in demand? I'm thinking of adding it because with some work I've been doing with articulate, some clients really like the search feature.
