Toggle Audio vs Toggle Audio AND Synch Events

I was able to create a toggle play/ pause for audio.
I thought that if in the AUDIO PROPERTIES I would create Synch events that when the toggle was selected BOTH the audio and text synched to the audio would pause.
This was not the case. Only the audio paused.

This is what I thought I did but synched events don't appear to work. I will keep at it.
