This is a result of exceeding the 4K cookie/temp cookie limit that IE has. When you run content in Lectora, run/preview modes, or in a CD/EXE publish, no cookies are used as no browser is involved. Therefore, there is no limit on the number of variables used. When you publish to the browser, the browser controls the data with cookies or temp cookies and IE can only store 4K per session. Therefore, when you exceed the 4K limit, it starts at the beginning of the cookie file and erasing previous variable values. When you use a frame, the entire page content is within a frameset and the content can control the variable values. When you do not use a frameset and you move from page to page, the browser's only way of knowing what variables were set on the previous pages is to check it's cookie file. So basically, when you use the Title Manager Frame, the content can control the values but when you remove that option, the browser can only refer to the cookie. This is a result of exceeding the 4K cookie/temp cookie limit that IE has.
