Tallying Test Score/Progress On The Fly

Hey, Ben. Hope you are doing well.I don't think you will be able to do this using the official test score because it won't be calculated until the end of the test and the process/score test action is applied. However, you should be able to create a running score using a series of custom actions if you are not randomizing your questions from a question pool. When you create a question in Lectora, it automatically creates a variable for that question. On show of each question page, use actions to check how many of the previous questions were correct. Use your checks to build a cumulative test score. For example, if you have a 10 question test, then add 10 for each correct answer to your custom scoring variable. Using another action, divide it by the number of questions attempted to date to determine the current percentage score. You can then display this score. If you are using random questions, this approach won't work and we'll have to think of something else. Hope this helps. Let me know if I can answer any follow up questions.Jay
