Video in Lectora

The Windows Media Encoder 9 Series, which is provided freely from Microsoft can do this. It comes with a separate Utility called "Windows Media File Editor". This program allows you to also insert/index markers within ASF/WMV videos and WMA audio files. Once you add markers and save the file, you can then assign Lectora actions to these markers within the Events tab of the audio/video object properties. As for Windows Media Server, full documentation is available within the Windows help on the server. For instance, if you have Windows Server 2003, open the help and do a search for 'windows media services'. You should see some useful topics such as "Streaming media server role: Configuring a streaming media server." There is probably more information available on Microsoft's website as well if you do a search for it there too.Edited By: aaron on 2007-8-30 16:26:22
