GGI Script for Posting Survey Data

I'm researching the survey option in Snap! and want to use the CGI script option to submit survey data to a server. I've never worked with CGI scripts before and want to know if anybody out there has done this. If yes, are you able to compile data and generate reports on it? Anybody willing to share a working script? Is it worth going this route?
