Style painter for transparent button states

Is there any plan to have the style painter properly copy over transparent button states?
I often like to tweak the states of a transparent button so it gives a little bit of visual feedback to the learner. For example - I will set the OVER state to be white with a 10% opacity.
I've noticed that when I try to use the style painter to copy this style over to other buttons, the OVER state is completely different. It seems to have 100% opacity and a black outline. This means I have to manually change each button.
