Slow Refresh Rate

Hi I am hoping for some help, I am developing with Lectora 7 and I have two variables that are for the chapter name and the page title using the built-in Lectora variables. When I publish the course, the variable task a while to load and it is distracting to the user. Any ideas? Also, on other pages, the navigation items appear to have a slower refersh rate on some pages and not others. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
