Shadow not displayed when published

I have used shadow option on couple of objects and after publishing they were....gone. I've tried it couple of times and maybe I'm missing something....so i guess now is the right moment to ask if anyone else has the same problem...:)
Anyone?

Are you using IE8 by any chance? Shadows won't work in older browsers: http://trivantis.com/lectora-12/browser-differences
