Sending Test Score to Workday Learning Using Scorm 2004

We have a module that is a stand alone test. We would like to send the actual test score to our LMS (Workday Learning). It is my understanding we need to have some sort of variable set within the test. Does it matter where? Also, what should I set as the value if I want the actual score to show in the LMS. On the last slide we have the following variables set:

CMI Completion Status set equal to completed

AICC Lesson Status set equal to passed

Do these look correct for the last page? I just don't know how to set up the variable for the score.

Thank You!

Hello @lhinterweger2536, yes, those are the correct Lectora variables to see for course completion when publishing to SCORM 2004. The Lectora variables are translated to the proper LMS SCORM 2004 variables cmi.completion_status and cmi.success_status, respectively.

You don't need to set the score, Lectora will calculate it and send it to the LMS automatically for you. If you want to see the score manually and override the Lectora calculation, you can set the Lectora variable AICC_Score to a number between 0 and 100. Lectora will send this value to the LMS SCORM 2004 variable cmi.core.score.raw.

If you publish to SCORM 1.2, there is only one Lectora completion variable that needs to be set, AICC_Lesson_Status. In the majority of LMSs, the value it expects is "completed" with lower case c and a d at the end. The following article has an overview of these settings. The table at the bottom is very clear:

The following longer article has more detailed explanation of other workings of Lectora and SCORM, and has a very in depth section on course completion.
