Review Link issues
February 29, 2016 12:00 AM
My project looks great when I preview it in Lectora, but when I publish it to Review Link, the slide appears to be blank and the buttons are missing. This is my first time using Review Link. Does anyone have any tips or would anyone be willing to look at it in Review Link to let me know if I'm doing something wrong?

Thanks Jennifer. It turns out I have a javascript error on an audio object on the first page. Support suggested I delete it and re-insert it, but I have no idea how to copy and paste an audio object from PPT into Lectora. The usual (copy/paste) controls just copy the icon, not the actual audio. I know Lectora has a learning curve, but I'm about to tear my hair out here. I feel like this shouldn't be this complicated, and I'm starting to regret my purchase. Hopefully it will get easier.
Alexis, You already have all the individual .wav files; they are in the zip file you posted in the message I responded to. However, if you ever need to extract embedded audio files from a .ppt or .pptx file do the following:
Add .zip to the name of your PowerPoint file. Example myPowerPoint.pptx becomes myPowerPoint.pptx.zip then double click the .zip file. Inside you will see a media folder (inside a ppt folder) that has all your media. Copy what you need and paste them in a new folder.
While I have never tried to import from PowerPoint in Lectora, I found that it was almost always more trouble than it was worth when I worked in ToolBook. In my opinion it is much better to get the required media files and author from scratch. That's just my opinion, I'd like to hear what others think.

I would check to see if there was any errors that may be causing an issue. From the Tools ribbon, select Error Check from the Review group. Anything in red has to be resolved otherwise it can cause you file to show up incorrectly when previewed or published.
