"Somehow" first line of exam questions align with 2nd line

I am using Lectora Publisher 11.x and for some reason the first line of a question with two lines in it moves when published and aligns with the second line. If the question is only on one line the line doesn't move. See attached. Question "a" in the attached moves right to align with the second line and question "b" doesn't move.

Are you using the latest Lectora version as I have read a couple of blogs that mention text aligning to the right for no apparent reason.
