Can't make 2nd line indent go away
February 1, 2013 12:00 AM
I used Lectora number format tool and it properly indented the second and subsequent lines for that number. Now, when I turn off the page number tool, the second line indent remains indented.
The numbering is in exam answers
Anyone know what to do to take away the second and subsequent line indent function?

This usually happens when you copied text into Lectora w/o using Paste Unformatted.
Solution:
- Select all text in text block and cut.
- Paste UNFORMATTED.
- Reformat.

Have this problem all the time. The above never works for me. I usually end up deleting the text box completely, and starting again.
However, the cause of the problem does seem to be pasting content with formatting. It's just deleting everything / "ctrl+a --> delete" doesn't rectify the issue when re-pasting the content without formatting.
I have had this problem too - work arounds I've used
1. paste as unformatted
2. put into notepad and then paste into Lectora
Thanks for the info. Actually I just did that and it worked. But more .... I discovered that this happens whenever I have used the auto numbering option. Even if I turn it off the indent continues.
To me, even of greater importance, is that if I use the numbering option in an EXAM question, my courses will NOT open on an iPad. When I rebuild the entire question and have nothing that resembles numbering or alphabetizing my courses WILL open on an iPad.
