Question about Cookies / Bookmarking

I am trying to figure out exactly how Lectora drops information to a machine from a CDrom, for things like bookmarking and 'remember field between sessions.' I am thinking it is just a cookie dropped to the temp internet folder. Does anyone know what kind of file it is and where does it get saved specifically? We have a lot of long courses where people start and stop, and then pickup from where they left off on a later date. I just want to know so I can advise those who like to keep their machines clean as to how it works, so someone doesn't toss the file out doing machine maintenence.I appreciate it in advance!!
