Process Test
December 2, 2024 12:03 PM
Hello,
learners must complete two tests at the end. They can decide for themselves which test they want to start with. Both tests must be completed within a specific time. After the processing time ends, the exam finishes automatically. Now my problem: Lectora only calculates a test result when the "Process Test..." action is executed. This action can only be embedded within a test. We want to take the correct answers into account in the current tests, even if the processing time has expired. How can I set all tests to process after the processing time has expired so that the result is displayed correctly? Thank you for your feedback.

HEllo @ekmud01. To create a timed test, you set the "Timed Test" property of the Test Object on its BEHAVIOR tab. Lectora will add a timer object to the Test object. This timer has an action automatically inserted and that action is triggered when the timer is done, and runs the Process Test/Survey Action. This can be used to control the time if there is only one time period for the whole testing stage.
If you are going to have two tests, they could each have a timer that adds up to the total time.
I you want their to be one timer, you could instead use two test Sections, within the one test object. Set up the first page in the Test object to chooses which one the user chooses and ensure the user can get to the other test section once done with the test section they started with.
