Problem with Page Layouts
February 20, 2008 12:00 AM
Layouts do not store styles/formats, just where objects are and their type. Good practice for courses says to limit the number of fonts but that aside, the default font is controlled by the background tab on the title, chapter, section, and page. Personally I rarely use the layouts because of this limitation. Instead I do as follows. If you have pages that use different fonts in different places, like heading is 14 pt bold and body is 10 pt, create an ideal page and save as a library object. For how to make the easiest fastest most powerful use of the Lectora Library, see the free guide available on my website by clicking below and searching for "library".
