Descision of passing

Maybe I misunderstood what SFeldt is looking for. If they are just looking for the LMS to determine the mastery score, it can certainly do that. Just reading quickly through the posts, it sounded as if they wanted feedback from the LMS to the course. That is what I have not ever seen. What you, SirWise23, are doing with not including the test in the overall score is what I have recommended for those using certain versions of the Saba LMS. Saba has the ability to the do the score/mastery score comparison and they never wanted the user to get a failed status because it moved the course from in progress to the transcript as failed. Therefore, they only send the score of the test when the user actually passed it by doing what you mention above. If that all they are looking to do, then they can just follow your instructions.The part that threw me off was when SFeldt stated, the problem is that we have grade the test differently depending which user is making it. Wasn't sure if that meant for those creating the courses, as all the courses would have a different mastery score or if that meant it depended on the user taking the course. If it is the latter, I have no solution for that.
