PowerPoint Integration Issues - slides coming in without slide template background

Greetings Everyone,

I'm working on my first PowerPoint Integration project. I rarely (read never) use PowerPoint, but my internal client created the storyboard in PP and needs a very, very quick turnaround so I cleaned up the slides and thought I would just integrate it into Lectora 11.

However, I am having some problems getting the slides to come in as designed. For some reason, I think the Master Slide is overruling the individual slides because they are not coming in using the slide layout they were created on. I'm wondering if there is some unknown to me setting that I'm supposed to select in PP to make the slides integrate as designed.

I've attached to images that will better describe what I am talking about. The image on the left shows the slide as designed in PP; the image on the right shows it after integrated into Lectora. You'll notice that the left image has the PP slide layout I chose, but the one on the right doesn't.
