pop up page - disable page count

I'm not knowledgeable about page numbering, so I'll leave that to someone with more experience.
I can, however, suggest an alternate to pop-ups. It's not a wholly elegant solution and may not work for your needs, but at least it may give you something to mull over until a real solution presents itself.
One method is to put all your definitions in text boxes at the title level. Make them all initially not visible. Then, when the learner clicks on a word, you run an action that shows that text box.
I do not recall if such an object would become hidden again on the next page or not. If not, then you would need to have an Action Group at the title level so fires off each time a page shows. That Action Group would Hide all those text boxes.
The obvious downside is that you couldn't have more than one definition on a page, since your text boxes would all likely be in the same location. If you don't mind having a dedicated area for the definitions, you could also run an Action Group first that Hides all of the text boxes before you show the definition. That way, you could have five definitions, and each click just changes that area.
There are other ways of doing this, but this first came to my mind. I don't really like it, but maybe it'll inspire you...even if it inspires you in a direction away from it.
