PDF in iFrame zoom level

Hello.

How about in the properties of your PDF file you set the window options of the initial view that you want the document to open?

To do this, you need to first have Adobe Professional. ( I am using 9.0)

Open your document with Adobe Professional, then click File > Properties.

Under the document properties, click the tab, "Initial View".

You will see three options: Layout and Magnification, Window Options, and User Interface Options.

Under Layout and Magnification:

Change the Page Layout to "Single Page" and for Magnification change to "Fit Page" or "100%".

Under Window Options, check the box, "Open in Full Screen mode".

As you see, there are other options you could chose. I would make the above changes, test and modify unitl you get the Initial View that is right for you.

Save the file and then test in Lectora. Let us know how it worked.

Best regards,

Bruman.

The PDF is not on an external site, but contained within the lesson via the Additional Files tab (i.e. source = myFile.pdf as opposed to source = http://www.pdfzone.com/myFile.pdf). Anyone know of a way to have the PDF file open at a set zoom size? I know the user can control the default zoom of PDFS, and know how to control the zoom of PDFs loaded from external sites, just not sure you can do it from within an iFrame. Thanks,
