bkrause's methos can be very effective. However, it needs some coding added to the publication, and you need to have absolute paths. A cookie stored must be done to a certain place on a absolute path, otherwise you are not able to restore the last progress.If you are really going for the big one, try to put an installer on it. This way the user needs to unpack something to a drive, and you will be able to use relative path's. Again, it requires some severe coding, and time and testing.A little more tricky would be to make a registry-key, containing the nesc. information. However, not every workstation will accept this because it is a adjustment to the system.Good luck on this one!
