Page Numbering Tool

Thanks Ben, that makes sense and I get the concept but I still need a little more info on this. I have already dis-inherited the page numbering data from the two pages but Im not sure how to subtract from the over all page number. I set a new variable; "totalpages" = to the total number of pages, in this case 102.Now I need to set "totalpages" = to "RunningPageCount_1_1" ( this is whats showing up under the lectora created actions at the top level)but how do I actually do this?Next, I will need to create an action that subtracts a value of 2 from my "totalpages". I imagine I place these actions at the top level so that two less pages are registered on the overall count from the start of the course. Can you please help me fill in the missing pieces in the above?thanksT
