Multiple AU variables

I want to build a Lectora course with multiple AUs. I also want each AU to track back to our LMS. Each AU uses the same system variables for tracking. The question is, 'Do I need to reset the AU variables to each AU before entering it or is Lectora smart enough to do this?'
