Meta for Business MDM Integration

Hi CenarioVR team, with the new Meta for Business MDM software, can we use that to manage the app and content installation like ArborXR and ManageXR?

Hello @optiuser, yes you should be able to manage your headsets with Meta Horizon Managed Services, as Meta's MDM software was recently rebranded and includes integrations with third-party MDM solutions like ArborXR and ManageXR.
Hi @jholland, thanks for your response. We've gone ahead to test the Meta Horizon Managed Services and found the following (that might be helpful for your team and others):
> While you can use another MDM (such as ArborXR/ManageXR on top of the Meta Horizon Managed Services, our use case was to only use Meta Horizon Managed Services to try and remotely manage a suite of Meta Quest 3S headsets. A key consideration is that there's a doubling of MDM costs when using third party MDM solutions.
> The URL to the CenarioVR APK (for Meta) needs to be inserted as the external download link, as the CenarioVR Meta APK is not available in the Meta Horizon Business App store (even though it is available in the consumer Horizon App store)
Ideally, if CenarioVR could be made available via the Meta Horizon Business App store, it would make the above process even easier.
> Unlike AborXR or ManageXR, Meta Horizon Managed Services does not allow you to specify the location of uploaded files. It defaults to a folder on the Meta headset called "Managed Files". So any Zip files uploaded into the headset via Meta Horizon Managed Services will need to be moved into the Download/CVRLocal/ directory manually.
> This issue impacts users for Local Scenarios, as Admins will not be able to remotely set up the Zip files in the appropriate folder (Download/CVRLocal), and need to plug the headset to a computer to move the Zip files.
I wonder whether CenarioVR Meta APK can be updated to reference the AppConfig.json and Zip files from the /ManagedFiles directory?
> So, while you can remotely install apps and files, if using CenarioVR for Local Scenarios, an extra physical step is required, which defeats the purpose of the (remote) managed services.
