matching question and lms interaction

Yes Grade each matching pair as a separate question - is turned on.
But I think it's appropriate because there are 5 items and I want the learner to obtain 1 mark for each item. So this question is out of 5, and in my LMS results it shows everyone got 5/5, when they actually didn't. What is being reported to the LMS is that the user answered the question correct regardless of whether they did or not. The score shown in the course is correct.
Unless "grade each matching pair as a separate question" means something else...?
