Image Format

I"m working on a course where several images are taken from web site screens - the image needed is cut from the screen and imported to lectora.While in edit or preview mode the images look great. However when I preview in IE or publish to HTML the images become blurry and pixelated.Does any one know the best format to save the images as to import to Lectora?
