Mastery Score

Please forgive me b/c I'm running out of... well, where to go for help.

Question: "Where else could I look?"

I published a course that had the mastery score of 10%, but that had to change. So, I republished and changed the mastery score to 75%, but it's still showing 10% in the user's records in Saba LMS.

I double checked that my Lectora AU has a mastery score of 75% and don't know where 10% is coming from. Does Saba only keep the mastery score from the 1st time you upload? How/Where can I change the 10% in Saba? Or can I edit the published file such as the imsmanifest.xml file? Or where/what file can I look to see why it's still 10% and not 75%? This is SCORM1.2 by the way. Please help :(

Hi Wee,

Sounds like in Saba, you have the course's mastery score over ridden by the LMS. In the Offering where the content object is listed, there should be a Mastery Score field, change that to your new 75%.

Thank you, Kelly. I just tested exact same course, republished, made another course/offering, and it still shows 10%

I really don't know where it could be coming from. AU information tab shows 75% :(

Wee,

This is really odd then :) Try loading your course to the SCORM cloud to see it it shows 10% or 75% for your mastery score.

Thank you again Kelly for your help. I just decided to go another route.

I published another course (v2), uploaded to content/admin, and went to the offering and did the disable/add new content for future registration. At least this v2 will show correct mastery score for new registrants. Thank you, Kelly.
