Lectora X Course only works with Internet Explorer 10 in Compatibility Mode

We recently started upgrading our company browsers to Internet Explorer 10. Since then we've been flooded with a lot of support calls for images and text not displaying in Internet Explorer 10. The work around is to have the user switch to Compatibility Mode. However, this is not something we want to do for 6,000 employees. Is there a setting in Lectora X to make it work in Internet Explorer 10 without Compatibility Mode enabled? Is this an issue that has been resolved in Lectora 11?

Thanks in advance,

Eric

Thanks. We upgraded to Lectora 11, which resolved that issue, but unfortunately, Lectora 11 has created other issues such as not being able to set the screen resolution and issues with exams. Very frustrating. Tried calling Lectora a few times but I only get voice mail.

Lectora 11 works great with IE10.

You are probably having the same problem we had at my company. When we had Lectora X, we told people to turn on compatibility mode in IE10. With Lectora 11, anyone who had compatibility mode turned on is now unable to see our test questions. You can force compatibility mode off by adding this code in external html as a Meta tag:

rwalters,

Thanks. I will try this in our old courses so we don't have to redo all the courses.

Thanks,

Eric

rwalters,

Did the upgrade. It sort of fixed the issue with the question in Compatibility mode. However randomly 1 out of 10 questions will not show. Every time we go in it is a different question. Can't figure out why. Going to try that code mentioned as it might be out best bet.

Thanks,

Eric

There is no need to do that now. The new Lectora update (v11.2a) fixed the issue with tests not showing any text. Still, if you ever run into any other problems caused by compatibility mode, that code will turn it off.
