Lectora Freezes
March 24, 2007 12:00 AM
Freeze's in Lectora tend to happen only when performing certain actions. This can very specific actions like importing a certain pretty big image, or pasting some text in a textbox. It is very likely that repeating the exact action used before a freeze causes the program to freeze again, so you should avoid that at all cost.Off course, I do not need to tell you that you should save on a regular basis, and never turn off autosave. That said, beside regular saving and installing the latest patches, there is not much that you can do about the crashes. As far as layering goes, remember that Lectora is a e-learning tool. Saying the layering is bad compared to photoshop is like saying that photoshop has very limited actions to produce scorm-based content, and post it on an LMS. I have to agree with you that the layering could be done a little better (it looks like paint atm :D), but it is still no image-program. Thats all the hints I can give you. There is not much more anti-freeze to be done, only more things to prevent losing an awfull lot of work!
