Installing and using a new font

Disclaimer: I am a complete Lectora newbie. I am using the Professional Publishing Suite v9.3 on XP.

I had a look on the Forum to find an answer to the questions below and I found bits and pieces, but I don't have a complete picture yet.

Suppose our house style uses a specific font that is not part of the drop down menu for a text block. Where does Lectora get its fonts from? From the fonts installed on my desktop? (I assume yes and yes.)

If I install a new font, use it in a title, and then create a single file executable from the title, will this font be automatically included? Will it scale properly or do I need to worry about the user's screen resolution? How do I make sure that the user gets to see a consistent style, without font substitutions and sizing issues?
