Hyperlinks & Variables

Hi there

I am considering this to aid maintenance on a large-scale project.

Just wondering if anybody has actually used any functionality that allows you to predefine all of the hyperlinks with variables - so that if a student clicks on a hyperlink or any other form of link, rather than hardcoding the server address of the document or web page, it uses a variable with that location??

Any thoughts or ideas, or is this potentially new functionality in Lectora 11?

TIA

THanks, any examples or idea on how this is done? My JS is not up to much

TIA

Possible, yes. But you'll have to replace true hyperlinks with quasi hyperlinks that use JavaScript. Then you can get the url from the variable and go to that url.

Thanks a bunch for that - much appreciate it.

Need to buy you a beer or Vodka when I visit Latvia :D
