Flash 8 handles the security sandbox differently than Flash 7. This makes a big difference when trying to run local files.Go to http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplay er/help/settings_manager04.html Add the locations of where your files are being published to the list of safe zones. and it should work.
