How do I get a course to be complete/passed/whatever?

Can anyone tell me how to do this? I've used CMI Completion status but occasionally I get errors on one course but not on another despite following the same procedure. I also tried to use AICC_Lesson_Status and AICC_Score but I've not been able to locate sufficient information to properly implement them. So would someone please tell me how to do this?
